Our unique Kindergarten program offers a well paced day and activities designed with our youngest campers in mind. Our highly qualified staff are early childhood educators, moms and activity specialists who are attentive, engaged and tireless! Our groups are typically 8-10 campers in size with a staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4, ensuring our staff can be responsive to each camper’s individual needs. Campers are gently guided through a well-rounded and flexible schedule allowing them to experience a wide variety of activities, make new friends, and have FUN.

First Grade Program

Campers entering first grade enjoy a staff-to-camper ratio of 1:4 in their small groups of 10-12 campers. Our staff is fully engaged throughout the day to help campers navigate new friendships, gain confidence and explore unique activities in a varied and well-paced schedule.

As a part of their schedule, first grade campers are introduced to individual choice, which is an integral part of the Summer Fenn experience. Throughout the week counselors offer a variety of Electives that are created with the needs and interests of this younger age group in mind. By maintaining a high level of flexibility, we ensure that campers have fun and feel successful. Sample elective choices: Music, Water Slide, Soccer, Clay Play , Scavenger Hunts and Nature Walks.
